Smoking Cessation Team - 0141 201 9832

If you are motivated to stop smoking and feel that you need extra support to do it then call the smoking cessation team. They have access to support sessions, nicotine replacement therapy and can also recommend medications such as Champix to help you quit smoking. Your local pharmacy may also provide help to quit smoking.

Community Drug and Alcohol Addiction Team - 0141 276 3420

Patients can self refer to the community addiction team on this number. They specialise in helping patients deal with alcohol problems and other addictions.

Primary Care Mental Health Team - 0141 342 3200

Patients can refer themselves to this service. It can offer therapeutic support to people experiencing common mental health problems primarily anxiety, depression and problems relating to life events. They offer a wide range of counselling and psychological support.

If you are aged 65 or over and have had one or more fall in the preceding year then you can self refer to this service. This service will give you a comprehensive review and look at reasons why you have fallen and try and reduce the risk of this happening again. This is a NHS service based in the East End of Glasgow.
